about
I’m Humza, a Computer Science student at Wilfrid Laurier University. I enjoy building things that are practical, well designed, and genuinely useful to people.
Lately I’ve been focused on PaperSol, a platform that lets people practise trading strategies without real financial risk. The goal is to make learning markets feel intuitive, fast, and visually clean, without the pressure that usually comes with real money.
I like projects like this because they combine logic, problem-solving, and careful UI decisions. It’s rewarding to build tools that help people learn, experiment, and gain confidence through experience.
Before that, three co-op terms at Martinrea International had me designing Power BI dashboards, redesigning an internal website on a design system, and leading UX for a CRM used by a bank’s sales teams. Those terms are where I learned that enterprise work rewards clarity and restraint over cleverness.
When I’m not coding you’ll usually find me sketching UI ideas, exploring new tech, or gaming while brainstorming the next project. Clean code and good design go hand in hand; the best products aren’t just functional, they’re enjoyable to use.
